CHAPTER 8TOFU strategy #3: Digital PR
Hero Packaging is arguably Australia's most recognised e-commerce packaging company. Much of that recognition is a result of digital public relations (PR). Hero Packaging has been featured in hundreds of online publications from Smart Company to the official Shopify blog, and we were also on SBS and Channel 7. This made us a category leader in Australia, built trust with our business customers (from small businesses to large national retailers) and allowed us to get in front of people at all levels in an organisation.
For any business, getting the right PR will allow you to cut through the noise in a crowded market and have prominence over your competitors, and will garner trust in your brand. Remember when a cold audience sees you everywhere, it builds familiarity and trust with your brand. This leads to your brand being part of their consideration set when making purchasing decisions.
