This section covers the various settings and configurations you will need to remember for the HVAC portion of the HTI+ exam. This section covers the functional purpose of zone programming, system programming, time-of-day programming, and seasonal presets.
Zone Programming
The difficulty of the family reaching unanimous agreement about a comfortable residential temperature can be greatly alleviated with the help of zone programming. For example, the six-zone controller shown in Figure 6.16 is capable of helping the family obtain different heating, ventilation, and air conditioning temperatures in different parts of the home.
