Connectivity for home access control and management systems is achieved with communications cable according to the standards for various types of locations defined in this section. Also, discussed next are wireless alternatives for connecting home access components. Phone-line connectivity, low-voltage wiring, and termination points for home access control systems are also covered in the following paragraphs.
