Working with Text

Almost all HTML documents contain text. Pieces of text are normally grouped in paragraphs in the body element of an HTML document. The title of a section or subsection in an HTML document can be written as a heading. Using paragraphs and headings makes your document more readable. In addition, doing so enables each piece of text to be styled differently. For example, you can use different fonts and different colors in different paragraphs and print headings in different font sizes.
