Chapter 16. Linking Existing Projects

Once you have used your template project for a while, you may want to link existing projects to the source project, too. There are benefits to having as many projects as possible linked to your source project. The more linked files you have, the less time you need to spend on maintenance.

Linking existing projects to a source project carries some risks and requires careful consideration. When you create a new project from the linked template, there are no existing files to accidentally overwrite.
