Checking the Easy Stuff: CSS

While CSS syntax is pretty straightforward, it has some common pitfalls, especially if you’re more accustomed to writing HTML. A CSS validator will flag syntax errors like the ones discussed in this section, so validate your style sheets before you go digging through your CSS looking for errors.
