1.3. The Milestones of the Scope Definition Stage
As we saw in the case of the Minotaure assessment, a number of meetings
were set in order to define an assessment. The kick-off meeting was held on
December 8, 2004, and was attended by the ASN’s representatives. The scope
definition meeting was held on January 14, 2005. It was prepared by the
coordinators from EDF and the IRSN and attended by the IRSN’s human factors
experts, who were accompanied by an executive officer of the Reactor Safety
Department, and the representatives of both the ASN and EDF.
