
Postface
It is a challenge to write a postscript to a book, possibly even greater than
writing a preface. The reason is that when the reader gets to the postscript, he
or she will (presumably) have read the book and therefore already formed an
own opinion of its strengths and weaknesses. Or, to paraphrase the title, the
reader will have assessed the book. The challenge is possibly even greater in
the case of this book, which is unique in both scope and contents, as well as in
a refreshing non-Anglo-Saxon style of writing and arguing.
