4 Human Capital and Internationalization
4.1 Introduction
Internationalization is linked with the cross-border business activities of a firm. Benito's et al. (2009, p. 1458) define internalization as “the organizational arrangements that a company uses to conduct international business activities relating to the activities performed in particular locations at a given time”. Entering into a foreign market provides unique opportunities to the firms by expanding their markets. Several firms, be it small or large, adopt internationalization as a key international growth strategy.
