The SAFe® Requirements Model
Much of the terminology SAFe® uses to manage work (epics, features, and stories) will be familiar to anyone who has worked in an Agile environment before. SAFe also has designated enabler
work, which is work designed to support the team-building features.1 (Design and research ops discussed in Chapter 10 would be good examples of enabler work in SAFe.)
Even though the terms are familiar, it is worth taking the time to understand what they mean, specifically within the SAFe® context.
