Abstract
Human Factors Integration (HFI) is the process of applying human factors within engineering programs and a good “human-centered” design requires an integrated approach with other design and engineering activities. It cannot succeed in isolation and it requires the involvement and engagement of engineering/design, operations, and health and safety disciplines within a project team.
