In 2008, there was a turning point when two women surpassed the symbolic number of doctoral
degrees obtained over men. Already in 2010 was predominance of 285 women more than men.
This means that there are 53.06% of women in the group of persons who completed PhD. Between
1994 and 1995, 2300 graduate students per year were promoted, which is comparable with the year
1970 (2290 promoted). Since the mid-1990s, the number of doctorates granted is steadily growing.
