Scaling

One of the most significant advantages that a hybrid cloud platform provides is the ability to scale data centers. It is therefore necessary to build hybrid cloud applications considering the scalability aspects. For example, the application architecture must be designed to support growth in users, network traffic, or even data size without any impact on the application performance. The application should be able to scale linearly in such a way that adding more resources should result in the ability to service additional workloads.

The hybrid cloud application must take into account two different types of scaling: vertical scaling and horizontal scaling.
