Cloud orchestration

Cloud orchestration is the technique of performing automation using a specific order with certain security group rules, role assignments, and permissions. Orchestration tools leverage automation tools to create processes that perform individual tasks in a specific order.

AWS provides orchestration tools using the CloudFormation service. Similarly, OpenStack provides the HEAT orchestration service. 

Both these services must be leveraged in the hybrid cloud environment and must be used by hybrid cloud applications to automate certain tasks. 

There are several third-party tools available for performing cloud orchestration. The following diagram shows a few commonly used tools:
