Lack of compliance

The term cloud compliance means that cloud providers must adhere to certain standards and regulations imposed by the central authority.  As new technology emerges, new compliance laws and regulations come into effect. For example,  the GDPR compliance law will be regulated in May 2018 and organizations who breach these compliance rules will be in trouble and may face an impact on business. It is therefore necessary that organizations adhere to the compliance policies.

When the organization's data center is migrated to a hybrid cloud platform,  the cloud providers should also adhere to the policies that the organization implements for its IT infrastructure and data.
