5.3 Managing cluster nodes
This section describes the process to manage the types of nodes in Power 755 cluster and
some solutions with xCAT.
5.3.1 Node types
Several types of nodes are featured in the Power 755 cluster in the xCAT database, including
four hardware nodes and one LPAR node. For the LPAR node, there are four subtype nodes
that are used to distinguish in logical function.
