RAS on IBM System Storage DS8870
This chapter describes the reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) characteristics of the IBM System Storage DS8000 family of products. Several changes and enhancements were introduced with the DS8870. These changes or enhancements were in the central electronics complex (CEC) and power subsystem and are described in this chapter.
