Conclusion
This Appendix provides a quick reference to using ANT with WebSphere Application Server. As an open source “standard,” ANT is an accepted mechanism to automation of the assembly, deployment, and configuration process. Having a basic understanding of ANT is important to process automation with WAS. In addition, knowing the available ANT tasks can also increase productivity. We also provided a brief overview of ANT and provided the available ANT options when using the WebSphere Application Server platform.
