Chapter 3. WAS Quick Start
It is now time to get our hands dirty. The goal of this chapter is to introduce you to the application used throughout the book and to deploy (or install) that application in its simplest form. Although this is not a development book, you will need some understanding of the application being deployed, and we will provide the appropriate background that deployers need from developers. You will configure WAS security in preparation for the deployment and then deploy and verify the application.
