Chapter 20. WAS Network Deployment Architecture

In an earlier chapter, we discussed the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) V5 architecture. In this chapter, we'll examine the additional functions that are available in the WebSphere Application Server-Network Deployment (WAS-ND) edition, and we'll also expand on some features previously covered in order to point out the differences between the single server runtime in WAS V5 and the multi-server runtime in WAS-ND V5.
