Remote execution
Remote execution servers enable execution of commands that have been received from a remote client. These servers run the remote execution command daemon (REXECD), which supports both the Remote Execution Protocol (REXEC) and the remote shell (RSH) protocols. This chapter focuses on the remote execution functions that are available in the z/OS Communications Server.
