17.3.1 Numerical Models
In this chapter, we use three detailed, anatomically realistic 3D models of the human eye,
which correspond to the geometrical dimensions of Table17.1, representing three differ-
ent age groups. In all models the circulation of the aqueous humor (AH) in the anterior
chamber is taken into account, together with blood perfusion and metabolic heat genera-
tion in the rest of the eye tissues, as in the nite element model (FEM) model presented
