Convergence is determined by the angle formed by the optical axes of the
cameras, and the convergence point is where the left and right images are
aligned. The convergence point appears to be on the screen, whereas objects
before the convergence point appear in front of the screen and objects be-
hind the convergence point appear beyond the screen [60]. This is camera
convergence we’re talking about: the viewer’s eyes may converge and do con-
verge elsewhere, onto virtual objects before or behind the screen,
