This book is the final volume of the book set “Image Engineering” and focuses on image understanding.
Image understanding, based on the results of image processing and image analysis, attempts to interpret the meaning of image at a high level to provide semantic information closely related to human thinking, and help further to make decisions and to guide the actions according to the understanding of scenes.
