Chapter 11. Editing Still Pictures
After purchasing a camcorder, I didn’t immediately throw away my trusty digital still camera. In fact, on a day-to-day basis, I find myself taking more photos than shooting video footage; compact digital cameras are just so easy to carry around.
iMovie makes it easy to incorporate those stills into your movie projects, whether you’re creating a slideshow, adding a series of pictures to accentuate video footage, or creating graphics or Photoshop-enhanced title screens. With iMovie, it’s a snap to add any image from your iPhoto library.
This chapter also includes information about the highly touted Ken Burns Effect, a pan-and-zoom operation that adds motion to otherwise static images.
