Data migration
In this chapter, we describe how to migrate from a conventional storage infrastructure to a virtualized storage infrastructure by using the IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC). We also explain how the SVC can be phased out of a virtualized storage infrastructure, for example, after a trial period or after using the SVC as a data migration tool.
