In this chapter, we learned about different VMware Horizon View Client options. We discussed the different methods that organizations can use to connect to View desktops, and discussed why an organization may choose one option over another.
We went through a basic installation of the View Client software for Windows and provided examples of how to install that client silently using command-line options. We ended by discussing the different command-line options that can be used when launching the View Client, enabling full control over the client login session.
In the next chapter, we will discuss how to perform maintenance on virtual desktops, which often requires different techniques from those you would use with traditional desktops.
