Planning the vSphere environment

According to VMware documentation, vCenter Server setup is an optional step for vSphere deployment. As you will see later in this book, however, vCenter offers a huge amount of features and options for managing the vSphere environment. It also simplifies management and adds flexibility. It's useful for any administrator and/or environment no matter how large or small.
