In this chapter, we will cover the semantic model security and self-service considerations. We firstly cover row-based and object-based security considerations, how these work and examples of these in practice. We then cover three key self-service considerations: what is relevant to end users, how the semantic model should be organized, and how the semantic model can be enriched.
