2.1 File ‘PULSE’
An experiment is conducted in a class with 92 students, where initially each student registers his or her own height, weight, gender, smoking preference, usual physical activity level and resting pulse rate. Then, each student flips a coin and those who get a face coming up must run in place for one minute. Finally, after that time, all measure and register their new pulse rates.
The file named PULSE.MTW, included in the Minitab sample data folder, will be used throughout this chapter to illustrate the different type of graphs that can be constructed. This file is organized as follows:

C3 | Ran | 1=ran in place; 2=did not run in place |
