An alternative approach

This chapter proposes ANT as an alternative approach for understanding both information practices and practices of nationalism and cosmopolitanism. ANT does not offer another compromise between individual and collective, micro and macro, local interaction and global context, but it argues that these dichotomies should be ignored as they are merely effects of completely different phenomena – associations.
