John Crawford

Abstract

This final chapter considers the content of previous chapters and endeavours to draw out key points and general policy issues. These focus around the need to extend the scope of information literacy, the difficulties inherent in doing so and the need to develop rigorous evaluation strategies. The chapter discusses the need for national information literacy policies and suggests a range of issues and activities which might inform such policies.
