Overview of information literacy models in the library context

Abstract:

This chapter provides an overview of the main models of information literacy processes, and of models of information literacy standards, competencies and indicators, in order to search for existing models that can either be adapted in part or in whole, or combined, to include in the development of a generic model to teach information literacy and cultural heritage for lifelong learning.
