It is my hope that dipping into the book has provided you with suggestions for further thinking and discussion with colleagues about your own career and about the collective prospects for our many kinds of information professions.

For now, I leave you with a few suggestions for simple habits anyone may build into his or her normal life. Keep them in the back of your mind—better yet, share them with others:

 Use—or create—opportunities to ask your peers about their careers and future professional plans. Of course, you will offer your own thoughts and, if possible, suggest resources they may not yet have found.
