The Process activities include:
1. Use the Data Definition Quality/Value Assessment Form described in
Chapter 4 (TIQM Step P1.6) for Stakeholders to rate their evaluation of
definition Quality
2. Identify a set of Information Stakeholders who depend on Product
Information to solicit Feedback. Ensure that you have representatives
from all parts of the Product Development Value Circle to prevent bias
caused by lack of representation across the Value Circle.
3. Collate and analyze the results of your surveys. Establish a Process
Improvement initiative. See Chapter 7, “The Step-by-Step Guide to Improving
Information Process Quality,” (TIQM P4) when Process Improvement is
required.
How to Measure Accuracy and Other Product Quality
Specification Information Quality Characteristics (TIQM P2)
The second assessment is an assessment of the accuracy of selected Product
Information. Follow the general steps in “Measuring Accuracy and Other Information
Quality Characteristics” in Chapter 5. Here are tips for Product Information Quality
measurement.
Identify a Set of Information for Measuring Quality (TIQM P2.1)
Select a set of 10 to 15 Critical-to-Quality Product Specification Attributes to
