2.1 LEARNING OBJECTIVES
In this chapter, we discuss the formulation and development of what should be at the center of all scientific research, the research problem. We see that without an area of concern, a difficulty to be eliminated, a state to be improved upon, or a disconcerting question, there really isn’t a need for scientific research. All research should be organized around and begin with the research problem.
