Project phase one — initial assessment: enterprise assessment
Management allotted a 45-day window to perform the enterprise assessment phase of the project. We initially had a team of one assigned to this effort but this was expanded during the 45-day window. The steps involved in the enterprise assessment included:
- Organizational analysis
- Capability analysis
- Application/capability mapping
- Agency-wide application architecture analysis
- Core System application analysis tool selection
