Chapter 13. Eraser Tool

The Eraser Tool is used to erase parts of a drawing. It has two modes. The Touch mode removes objects from a drawing, while the Cut Out mode removes parts of objects. To use the tool, either click on the image icon in the Tool Box or use the shortcut Shift+E.

Eraser Touch Mode

In Touch mode, one uses the Eraser Tool to draw a red “touch” line. Any object that the line touches will be deleted when the stroke is finished. To enable Touch mode, click on the image icon in the Eraser Tool-Tool Controls.
