Time for action — deleting a layer

1. Open an Inkscape document from a previous exercise.
2. If your Layer dialog is open, select the Swirl Background layer.
3. Then click the — icon as follows:
   

   The selected layer is deleted.

4. If you decide you don't want to delete that layer, go to the main menu and select Edit | Undo: Delete Layer or use the Ctrl + Z keyboard shortcut to undo the last action:
