15. Bringing Innovations to Market
There are probably thousands of great new product ideas thought of each and every day. Many, almost all, of these ideas will never reach a viable market. In this chapter, we will discuss many of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and start-ups in bringing their ideas to market. For instance, convincing investors that you have the “right stuff” can be extremely challenging. We will also discuss why creating a disruptive innovation is not always a good idea and how to come to market in a “stealth” disruption mode.
