Climate change has become a matter of global environmental justice (Selby, 2010). This is particularly the case in Africa, where countries that have contributed little to global carbon emissions face harsh consequences for impending climate disruption. In Ethiopia, those consequences involve persistent droughts, shorter growing seasons, shifting rainfall patterns, reduced agricultural production, and greater food insecurity.
