Author biography

Kirstie Nicholson is Resources Librarian at the City of Armadale Library Service in Perth, Western Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Ancient History with Honours and a Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies. In 2012, she was the recipient of the inaugural Kay Poustie OAM Travel Scholarship, awarded by the State Library of Western Australia Foundation. As part of the Scholarship, she examined and reported on the activities of innovative library services in the United Kingdom and Europe, visiting libraries in Amsterdam, Delft, Copenhagen, Malmö, London, Cardiff, Manchester and Liverpool.
