“Pretty much.”
“So, no dress code?”
“No, do you guys have one?”
“No but my dad sort of set implicit expectations and norms. We all kind of bought into it. Do you think it matters how we dress?” asked David.
“I don’t think so, but it does matter if people can dress the way they want and be themselves.”
“So, if I start wearing jeans to work, will I make the company more innovative?” asked David sarcastically.
“No, but over time people will feel safer, more empowered,” said Peter.
