Load Managing Applications

Load managing is perhaps the most powerful feature available in MetaFrame XP and is one of the most convincing reasons for the purchase of Citrix MetaFrame over Terminal Server alone.

Using load management, you can manage the load on your servers very easily by controlling which server users use when they attempt to run a published application. In addition, load management provides a high level of fault tolerance. If one of the load-managed servers is taken down for maintenance or fails for any reason, users will be able to reconnect to the application running on one of the remaining servers.
