Setting Up Windows 2000 Clients for Remote VPN Access

Setting up a VPN connection on a Windows 2000 workstation to a Windows 2000 or other PPTP-based VPN server involves setting up a network connection as follows:

1.
In the Start menu, under Settings, Network and Dial-Up Connections, select Make New Connection. Click Next at the intro screen.

Select Connect to a Private Network through the Internet and click Next.
