Summary

We are actually surprised at how much information there is about folders. You will see more information in Chapter 14 and Chapter 15. In this chapter, we covered the folder structure of the mailbox and met the various types of folders that you encounter there. In addition, we discussed in detail the operations that are applicable to folders and examined the difference between generic and typed folders and how folders cannot have their type changed after creation. The chapter concluded with both the rationale behind managed folders as well as the various Web methods that can be used to create, read, and delete them.
