Working with Duration Strings

We have noted that a MeetingTimeZone has a property called the BaseOffset, the value of which uses a string format that we have not yet explained.

<t:MeetingTimeZone>
  <t:BaseOffset>PT8H</t:BaseOffset>
</t:MeetingTimeZone>

This string "PT8H" is in a format called xs:duration, and you should understand the format of this string before we go into detail about how it is used in the MeetingTimeZone element.
