Delegate Access

It is entirely possible that a caller does not have a mailbox on the system. In this case, the caller must explicitly specify the mailbox that is being accessed because there is no way of determining this from the authenticated caller’s identity. Such access is considered delegate access, in which the primary owner of a mailbox has delegated certain rights to another account. Note that this could include "owner" rights to the mailbox as mentioned earlier.
