Users are quite familiar with e-mail attachments. Attachments can be the source of much joy (pictures of the grandchildren), or much pain (XYZVirus.exe). Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Web Services (EWS) supports the creation and retrieval of attachments. In this chapter, we will discuss item and file attachments, their structure, and best practices when dealing with them.
