Briefly, we covered layers, Layer Mask mode, Quick Mask, at least four or five toolbox tools including the very important Type tool, a Style filter, the Free Transform tool, and others. That's quite a lot for an “up and running” chapter, eh? Actually, there was an ulterior motive to piling on the tutorials in this chapter, which was that a lot of the tools and features you used here, you'll use again and again in Photoshop and in the examples in this book. And now, we can move more quickly, pick up the pace in this book, as you take on more and more fantastic assignments.
